    Removing Afterburner from GBA

i didn't do too well first time round (not bad considering but i'm picky). i didn't bother sorting it out but now I got a replacement lens from eBay (proper one identical to the original, not the purple rubbish)

wondering if it's possible to remove the film from your gba screen using sticky-stuff remover or similar as i wanna do it again properly.

post or pm any advice will be greatly appreciated

    thanks for looking

I peeled mine off and the screen is fine, i think i used some isopropyl alcohol to peel off. Also when removing, peel by pulling down on the film instead of pulling away from the LCD.

Is there still a market for afterburner ?

Must admit although my GBA looked o.k. with it, the dust inside did annoy.

well i'm happy to report i cocked it up - i just wanted to swap the top lens cover (got an identical-looking replacement) and decided to have a clean. i ended up scratching the afterburner glass bit too much. although it's dust free

i did the operation in the garden coz it was a bit windy and this kept dust moving. shame, that. oh well i'll just nab another from work on wednesday
