My Duo has recently stopped playing the music for CD games. Sound effects are fine, but the music won't play. It won't play music CD's either. Any explaination?

Well assuming that the games are loading fine then the CD Rom is okay. I assume that the CD does spin up when you play music CDs and does tell you the time position of the track and tracks.
If so then it sounds like either the cable that carrys the sound signal to the amp is disconnected or broken or that the preamp for CD Audio is buggered. It could be something simple like unplugging and replugging all the CD cables back in or if it is the amp something that isn't going to be easy to fix... -
Yeah, the discs spin and it tells the time position, I just get no audio. I'll have a go with the cables and see what happens. Only thing is, if I send it anywhere over here, I may as well just buy a new Duo considering what the repairs will cost.Comment
