Play-Asia billing question

When does Play-asia bill your credit card? Do they bill when they ship it or do they bill days later, or on some certain period of the month? Because they shipped my order a few days ago, I haven't got it yet, but I've been checking my credit card transactions online and they haven't listed it.

I'm wondering if they stuffed up and I got my goods for free, or if they will bill me at a later time?

It takes a few days for any billing to actually show up on your credit card, so I doubt you will have got free stuff

Also if you call your CC company they can check for any outstanding authorisations that wont show on your bill as yet.

Not for me...

When I ordered from the Rage, I noticed it immediately on the bill the day after it shipped.

But with Play-asia it's been about 5 days already and nada.

If it makes a difference, I'm from australia. Maybe our banks here do their work a bit quicker than the brits?

Different companies have different billing systems. Maybe Play-asia authorize your order first and then bill it a few days later, who knows?

Whats the point in thinking about getting your stuff for free after a couple of days anyway?

Just wanted to know if it was normaly not to get billed immediately... I found it kinda surprising. It's not my motivation to get stuff free, I just wanted to clear up something I found abnormal.

I recently bought something from cd-japan that showed up on my CC bill about a fortnight after I received it! I was well confused.
