A Panasonic Q dilemma!

My problem:

I got a Panasonic Q from Tokyo at the beginning of the year and the only way it seems that i can get it modded is to send it back to Hong Kong via a UK importer
So do i
a)buy a premodded one (from Liksang or E-Bay) and then sell my one
b)send it off,risking damage to it and all manner of taxes
c)leave it as it is,in its original form
d)sell it,as i dont really need it,more of a luxury item
