    Is it correct that the Alienware laptops are actually easily upgradable should you later wish to upgrade the graphics card? (something of a rarity among laptops generally) I'm sure I read somewhere that was the case but I could be wrong.

      Durham Red yes you can upgrade the graphics on the laptops look on the site it shows you how to(looks very easy)

        Get an AMD64 based laptop, and if you've got money to burn buy alienware, but I certianly wouldnt pay 600 quid over the odds for a tacky looking case and a glowing Alien logo.
        Too many issues with AMD and the performance of Pentium is far superior for alot of the things I do [video mp3 etc].
