Anyone bought from IMPORTMADNESS.COM

Hello all

Has anyone bought any games from 'IMPORTMADNESS.COM' (UK version website), I just wondered how the service is and how expensive they are, since they do not show how much delivery costs are.

Please can anyone help.

They are crap, why even bother with them when you have the excellent www.videogamesplus.ca

Its a canadian owned site which tries to fool people by having a .co.uk domain. I havent ordered from them personally but if you go to www.cube-europe.com and have a look at their forums therei s a hell of a lot of complaints with regards to IM. People paying for speedy delivery and then the bastards sending it surface and other horror stories.

I would wholeheartedly recommend VG+ and Tronix.

Another -1 from me. After waiting weeks (and many emails) for my 'in stock' Disgaea to ship, I got a rather ratty copy through the post. Won't be using them again...

If you'd have posted 3 weeks ago I would have said I have no complaints. However, I heard that Metal Slug 3 has been canned for the PS2 (XBox instead) and e-mailed them to find out whether I would be getting a refund (if the canning story is true). I haven't heard back. I pre-ordered it months ago and have already paid.

I'll let you know, but at this point in time it gets a no-go from me.

I ordered a Final Fantasy XI Official Strategy guide from them, couldn't find it anywhere else! came through alright, had no complaints

My cousin ordered FFXI (US PC version) and that took them 2 weeks :/

Apart from the slow delivery they are O.K.
However, Tronix and VG+ are far superior for prices, delivery speed and customer support.

I'm afraid the North American release on the PS2 has indeed been canned after SCEA rejected it for being 2D.

I ordered FFXI (PC) from them a few days ago, but have had no confirmation emails of the order or anything. Yesterday I sent a mail asking them to tell me if they had it in stock, but no response yet. Do you think they'll even get in touch? Should I cancel the order in a few days if I don't hear from them and get it from somewhere else (recommended websites would be great... PS don't say DVD box office, its out of stock). Cheers.

Once again SCEA proving that they know little to nothing about quality video games. Been playing Metal Slug on the Saturn and it's rude. XBox's gain is Sony's loss.
