Very interesting! I never knew that, but I was a member of the CEX forums (part of the XEC website) and every now and again a disgruntled ex-staffer will join and bitch about the reality of working there.

I have to qualify my blanket statement about CEX staff - some of them are great. I don't know their names - there was an American/Canadian guy who worked there a few years back that I enjoyed talking too, there's a female staff member working there recently who's friendly and a few others who are clued up about the console scene. The Harrow branch has a bunch of nice peeps there.
