Gamecube games better elsewhere

I am probably going to get a new 'Cube so I can play US/JAP games easier, so I was wondering what imported games are better than the PAL versions? (like framerate and extra modes etc.)

I heard something about US MGS:TT being better than PAL, but I don't wanna read the first play thread incase I see something that spoils it for me!

The main appeal of importing is to play games that were never released over here like Animal Crossing, Drill Land and WE6:FE. Some earlier GC games were not released with 60hz options in the UK, so even though they were optimised, they ran with a lower frame rate. Waverace BS is one that definately springs to mind.

I think the only difference in MGS:TTT might be the way one of the half naked guards is censored.

Yeah it's censored in that scene with Meryl but it's not a big deal, just looks a bit daft and it sticks out like a sore thumb. It looks kinda surreal.
