i see your point, though the electrical stuff i buy has usually been nicked from warehouses/shops, NOT from people's homes.

i've been able to get hold of allsorts, such as a PC, Hi-Fi, TV, whatever.

Untracable goods how do you work that one out? this xbox hasnt come from a shop or wharehouse or it would of come complete, its come from someone house and in a hurry or you would of got the leads with it. a lot of people register there xbox, which means giving the xbox serial number to microsoft, or they will still have the reciept and the serial number could be traced through that, your just proving how stupid you really are by thinking its untracable. the first thing the police do when they know electrical goods are stolen is get the serial numbers.

You post on a game forum on a regualr basis yet don't apparently know that you can walk into GAME in any town and pick up these leads for less than ?20 for the pair. Why? Maybe you were 'showing off' by stating you'd picked up an XBox for ?40.

The fact that it's not boxed and without leads would lead myself and others to beleive that the XBox was in fact the result of residential theft, not 'warehouse' theft.

Would you consider posting asking for pirated software or even selling it?
Doing so would be a justifyable banning offence, yet condoning actual theft involving physically taking away is not?
