I bought a cheap ?15 network cable from Dixon?s. It came with a free (albeit short) crossover cable. I think it was PC Line or some rubbish. But a network is a network card, as far as I can see it.

Anyway, installed the network in my PC, which was a piece of cake, and simply stuck the supplied cable into my Xbox from the new card. Turn on the PC, go online = one fully working Xbox Live connection.

If you want a longer crossover cable go to PC World, but it won't be too cheap. You can buy them on the Internet for less though, if you do a search.
