Buying GBA SP + Mario Bros 3 (B.day Prezzie)

Good evening all, hope your well.

I was wondering if you guys could help me a little. Its my girlfriend's birthday in one months time and ive been trying to decide what to get her. But tonight realized there is clearly no other thing to get then a nice shiny new silver GBA SP with Mario Bros 3

She has been borrowing one with my Mario and Luigi for sometime now but sadly had to give the SP back. She loves it to pieces and plays mine when she comes round. Her fav game however is the classic Super Mario Bros 3?

Anyhoo? where is the best/cheapest place to get these two items? Also if I happen to get a US/JP SP will it cause any problems for her?

Ive looked at Play-Asia (who I have used a few times ? absolutely excellent service) and their prices seems quite reasonable. ?67 for the GBA SP. How much would I be expected to pay for P&P?

I also use Videogamesplus (which again - excellent) and they have SMB3 for ?20. This is a great price imo -

I would be reasonably happy with these prices ? however am interested to see if anyone can recommend anything better? I think i'll use videogameplus to get SMB3 - but not too sure about Play-Asia for the SP. What are your thoughts/advice?

?57 for the SP, probably ?5 max postage plus they will mark down the postage.
I'd stick with VG+ TBH, they are excellent. Play Asia are fantastic too, but VG+ are cheaper.

As for Mario 3, Tronix do most of their GBA stuff for $30, about ?18, although postage is more than VG+ so will work out more in the long run.

All 3 sites are the best I've ever used though and can all be trusted.

My order history is starting to look a little bit expensive from them now. heh

VG+ were actually doing the silver SP for below ?50 a while back... which is when I nabbed one for my brother's birthday just gone!

Just remember to get a proper UK charger for it, should only be a few quid from Game...

That's an excellent point Mr Mayhem, thank you for bringing it to my attention. I would have completely over looked the fact i would need to get a UK Charger... phew.

Londonner, heh, even though it looks rather yummy and (yep, i actually quite like that - sarah probably would too ) i feel it is best to remain safe and get a colour i know she likes.

The SP and Mario Bros 3 were delivered the other day ? all looking very nice indeedy (another fantastic job by our friends at videogameplus ? thank you) Yet I?m not too sure what I should do about the Re-charger?

Would simply buying a UK one with the US GBA SP? Or is there an alternative option to purchase a plug adaptor or something of this nature?

Obviously I need to get something for me dear Sarah before her birthday to accompany the SP, so any advice is very much appreciated. Thanks again in advance
