Gamecube Driving Games ?

Are there any good ones (I've got F-Zero, Racing Evolution and MKDD) looking for a decent rally game or something similar to GT3, any suggestions please (PAL preferable but USA/JPN OK), is GT Cube any good ?

the only other 2 rally games on the gamecube are rally fusion and rally championship, neither of which are bad, but nothing special either.

The best 'serious' racing game on the cube in my opinion is Burnout 2, although its hardly a simulation.

I already have both Burnout games for the PS2, but good idea, think I might get V-Rally 3 if I can find it for a decent price (it was ?29.99 (used) in Gamestation )

Avoid V-Rally 3! The handling on the GC version is completely uterly broken and ****e, the graphics are all warped and funny from the ps2 version too..

Rally Championship was good on the ps2 and pc but ive not tried the GC one.. Pro Rally 2002 is crap beyond belief.. Rally Fusion was canned on GC and never released..

R:Racing is the best and only normal racer.. Mario and F-zero are about all else there is.. although you could get kirby air ride lol

Avoid V-Rally 3 - the car handling physics are terrible at least in the PS2 version. The 'WHEEL REAL' cheat code makes it bearable but I eventually went for WRC3 after researching the options. A+ game. Not sure if there is a GC port sorry.

I really love the GC for nintendo exclusives and all that.. but there is a massive lack of driving games. Even the N64 was a lot better in this respect.. driving games are my fave genre, i find them so easy to pick up and play and just dip into ... its very annoying nintendo have done nothing to change this.. like instead of comissioning some war shoot-em-up from kuju why not a racing game they also have the rights to TG Rally which havent been used :S

i think its because most "normal" driving games come from western publishers and developers who arent supporting cube..

i gave up holding out for a decent driving game and got an xbox and havent looked back. It means im not gagging for a decent racer anymore, so i like my cube better and i can get all the xbox stuff now too

know what you mean, I have Xbox for PGR2, Moto GP2 and soon to be released Rallisport Challenge 2, the Xbox and racers seem to go hand in hand, PS2 is collecting dust until GT4 arrives (finally)
