Playasia, J-PS2 and extra charges to the UK?

Hi, this is my first post on the forum and I was wondering. Have any UK folks ordered their Japanese PS2s from play-asia.com using the TNT shipping service. If so did any of you find the service was fast? Also, did anyone get any unexpected charges from TNT as I am terrified that, upon reciept of my shiny ps2 that I will be charged ?XXX for using a courier company (a friend of mine recently order the Kill Bill boxset from Japan using UPS or FedEx and has just recieved a letter charging her an extra ?20 for delivery). As the PS2 is significantly heavier I want to find somewhere which has good service but is also reasonably priced.

I haven't used TNT personally, but here are a couple of threads with other people's experiences.

From personal experience with TNT i can say that they are super fast (usually 3 days from Hong Kong to UK) but will almost definitely get charged Import Duty & VAT.

So add 22% to the price of the PS2 + shipping and if it still seems good value then go for it.
