USA Pokemon Fire Red + Leaf Green Release?

What's going on? I can't wait to play one of these games, but I can't see anything on the internet about a USA release date. The JPN version has been out for months now, why no US version yet?

I'm going away in 2 months time and I really want a copy of this game so I can play while I'm travelling, Any news of a release date, why is this being held up?

Can I trade JPN pokemon with my USA Sapphire and USA Colosseum? Is the game really text heavy, or will it be no problem for an 151 caught pokemon master!?

Are the menus and moves in english?

As for linking JPN-USA, not a chance. The conflicting language prevents any kind of transferring.
A fairly good review is here. As for playing the game in Japanese, it will be easy if you have a very good memory of Red/Blue, you should remember where you need to go next to progress. However, all the 'mons moves are in Japanese so that will prove troublesome...

I'm dying to relive the memories of Pokemon Blue/Red...

Why release this game at the same time as Halo 2... It looks like even after a 4 month wait, It's still gonna take a back seat... ah well!

Oops, I made a major bugger up there. Not only did I mean Half-Life 2 instead of Halo 2, for some reason I thought that Half-Life 2 was going to be out in September...
