Best way to clean a SNES?

    Hello,

I just got myself a SNES but like most of them its suffering from being in a smokers house. Whats the best cleaning agents to bring it back up to how it should look?

    Thanks

I used Isopropyl Alcohol to clean a PC Engine with. Household bleach actually worked better on that one.

Get yourself some anti-static foam cleanser from an electronics shop. If you remove the casing completely it's easy to clean, put in down on a cloth and spray it so that it's completely covered in foam and then leave it for 10 minutes.

Dry it out with a cloth and use cotton buds to get into vents etc -

If your machine has blemishes on the casing that wont come off using the cleaning foam use a fibre pen to VERY lightly rub them off.

I recently got the most banged up PC Engine Duo looking quite respectable using these methods, the fibre pen trick worked really well.
