Panzer Dragoon Orta Help Needed

I'm hoping some of you guys could help me with a little problem on mission 8 basically the final boss is a pain in the ass. I do the first section without any hits its just when it grows like a million and one arms and they start to rotate i can't dodge them for **** and my life just gets sucked away. After that i can dodge the big blue energy balls, and then i can dodge the red laser things its just that one part of the boss that ****s my health up. Also when dodging i'm using the glide wing. So any one got any tips or advice i've sailed through the previous levels without any real problems just this boss is a pain in the ass.

You on about when he crashes into you and stuff? Go faster! Other than that, its a timing thing with the red lock-on laser things. Lock onto him, wait until he fires and THEN shoot. You'll blow 'em all down before he hits you. Very easy once the timing is worked out innit.

You mean when he fires electricity at you using those arms? I normally save up a berserk attack, use it, and manage to damage him while coming out unharmed.

Heh, **** -- I read that to be THE final boss, not the robot factory fella... right?

Just change dragon to the more powerful one, hit the ship body and take off all the guns. Then, when needed, switch to the other one and move around as necessary, changing back to fire and destroy as many 'arms' as possible. When he does all his filthy stuff, just circle around the screen (you're on about when you go up/down the area you're in?). The other electric attack (where his arms spin around him) just need you weave up and down through the charge.

When he does the laser (you'll see), just move around him.

yeah i did mission 8 on the 14th go #9 was a pile of piss... Now i'm just stuck on the final round with abbad again i swear hes impossible to beat. I get past the first transition now with ease, but the 2nd part is just impossible after he flys through the water and then you have to doge the beat tail. U hear one really high pitched sounded and then you blink and theres some pinkish circluar thing around you and then some lasers start flying at you and the next thing i know i'm dead.

So how do i dodge that circular thing i've tried like 6 times and i still am none the wiser. Ahh i love this game i'm just whilst i'm waitng for some help via the board im passing the time away doing some of the extra mission with that little boy its jokes.

I must make it by personal mission to make sure you hear the ending song, Anu Orta Veniya.

As you say, the first form is dead easy, and you should be looking to beat him without taking a hit. The rest is a different matter. Avoid the tail is easy enough, especially if you switch to the smaller glide wing for a moment. When he ducks into and out of the water you can use heavy or base wing. If you have a well levelled up base wing, I'd stick with that for the rest of the fight.

Anyway, the tough bit. Those lasers are a pain. You can't actually avoid them. You have to lock onto him, and hold the lock on until you hear that weird sound. Then let go. Your lasers should intercept his lasers, and you'll be find. Keep doing this. If even one hits, you are in a world of hurt. Later on, he'll keep doing this, but the target will be smaller. Keep at it. He may appear and do this behind you as well, so keep an eye out. If you get in serious trouble, use your glide wing berserk to get some health back. Of course, using heaving wing berserk when he is easy to hit will dish out the pwnage, but it is up to you.
