Thought it was about time I made one of these.
All your favourite* robots being controlled in real time with all their characteristic weapons and enemies from the other shows featured in the game.
*Provided you like Gundam or niche robot anime like Ramune&40 Fire. It does have Code Geass and Eureka 7 in there too though.
The game engine is blatantly the same as the Gundam battle games on the PSP, as well as the Macross games. That is a mixed bag. There is a greater variety in the robots than in either of those two series which is a big plus, however if you weren't particularly taken by either one this probably isn't for you either.
All mech has customisable weapon pallets, which you can also add custom actions too. These custom actions are created from chips that you collect during battle and then combine to make new attacks/etc. My current favourites are the recovery and snipe-shot ones.
Missions are divided into blocks, with a certain number of days being given for them to be completed it. What happens if you can't do that? I don't know...I'm not interested in failing and finding out! Each mission has a main goal and 4-6 sub goals which can rarely all be achieved in one play through. They range from using the robot's character weapons under 50 times, to opening the route to another area within a certain time limit. Doable, but not all at once.
The music is generically super robot-ish, and the user is given the option to play music from a custom folder on their memory stick so they can listen to whatever they like as they smash and bombard the enemy.
Fun, but I doubt I'll go back to it after unlocking all the mech.
