Differences between JPN Slim 360 and Asian Slim 360

Jesus, after just one play this 360 slim has knackered my SSF4 disc. Have been using it vertical, just like all the photos of it suggest. I didn't even know they could go horizontal until spotting the rubber pads on the side.

I have a Jasper Elite that has been used every day since buying it. The fan isn't noticable at all. The DVD drive is quite loud though but I only ever use that for installing games. Strange thing is that using it as a DVD player had no noise issues at all. Anyway, All I can say is that the last Elite models are rock solid. I really do use mine everyday for gaming or streaming video from the PC to my TV. It must be about 2 years old now without a single problem. No disc scratches, no read rings, no errors, no resets, no nothing.

I don't like the look of the slim to be honest. It just looks cheap to me.

It is quite cheap and nasty, the case at least.

The 250GB gloss finish looks worse than the matte finish of the 4GB by some way, but the matte finish marks much more easily. You can't win.
