Japanese Nintendo account question

Don't know if it was asked before, what is required to create a japanese club nintendo account?
Anyone manage to create one and link their 3DS to it?

You need an address in Japan, and if you don't understand Japanese, a guide on what to put where.
After that, just add your ID and password to your 3DS to link it.

I had a go at it, and it is more difficult than I thought. You have to type in your name in kanji and hiragana, besides the address issues. I wonder why they made it this complicated with the japanese accounts. IIRC for the european ones you just needed an email address and that's it.

Not really any different from making a PSN account in terms of complexity.
