Been on playasia looking at the japanese PS3 section it's pretty depressing.

The PS2 has some amazing J software. Plenty of variety in Pal also. Great console, I've played so much over the years that I came round to loving it and even liking the PS2 Pad, more than I ever thought I would. Sold my Namco stick for it a while back, regretted it, re-bought it last week. Should be here today or tomorrow. I'll post a pick anyway in the retro games section arrivals. Its the Grey/Yellow one. I'm a fan of that stick.

People on SRK collect those, which has caused the market price to soar in America. Can still find them here for ?20 or so normally. Decent stick although I prefer something with a little more weight normally.

There are some ace looking J-only Macross games that I'm envious I can't play.
Macross 30 is supposed to be very good.

Macross 30 is the best Macross game I've played. The piloting mechanics take a little getting used to but I imagine it's as close to the "real" thing as you'll get.
