its like msn but for xbox live - lets you know who is online,what they are playing, how often they play etc etc etc

Yep, kinda. But that tab is only available to residents of the US! Depending on what address you have, MSN gives you different tabs. I live in the UK, so didn't have the Xbox tab on MSN, so I changed my address to Texas. Now I have the Xbox tab on MSN.

strange I am in the UK and my XBOX tab works just fine in MSN messenger

You go to passport.net and change your region to US.
I like to use 90210 as a zip code and California as the state

Once that's done sign out then into Messenger again and you have the fancy Xbox tab.

No need anymore, you can do it in the UK afaik (I was sent a mail telling me its available, 'cept I don't use MSN).
