Whats big on Live right now?

I'm a noob to XBox Live - I only took out a subcription on Friday after a year of swearing that as I could online game with my PC for free I wouldn't give MS more of my money. But I cracked. I'm weak. What can I say...

Anyhoo - I was wandering whats big on Live right now (other than Burnout 3 which I've been indulging in) that isn't a driving game? Preferably something with guns, big explosions, and lots of mayhem.

Burnout 3

RTC Wolfenstein (I'm not kidding about the last two, loads of people play them!).

I'd say RB6:BA is the biggest game about now if you like to shoot stuff and blow things up. You will probably find it quite a change of pace compared to PC shooters but stick with it, fantastic team play.
No one has mentioned splinter cell:PT yet, probably the most truly original live game out there. It does have one hell of a steep learning curve though, best to play with friends as otherwise finding a good match can be a pain.

Just add a load of forumites to your friends list, best thing about live is playing with a load of mates.

Can people stop going on about Outrun 2 and burnout 3 as I don't own them yet and you are all making me jealous

Nobody playing Steel Battalion online? I don't have LoC but if I was to get Live that would be the main reason. So not worth it otherwise.

You've only ever had two games of Madden, and barely touched Rainbow Six: BA. And hardly anyone plays the demo.

hey ish, i'm new to live as well, i'm loving burnout 3 and as long as the car class is locked its pretty fair, as for Rainbow 6 3:BA. I am too poor. In fact so bad i don't think i scored 1 frag in 3 hours... nevertheless i would like to hook up with some good contacts so i shall add some of you to my friends if thats ok. I haven't put it up yet but my gamertag is OptimumBlair. Sad but true.
