Hello, and welcome to Third Strike Report. Gutter Trash!

Today we await the start of the NTSC-UK Third Strike championship. I'm Tap Moodmon, and I'll be bringing you all the latest news on this uber-cataclysmic battle of the ages. Assuming you managed to make it past the blinding graphic from Firsty, I hope you'll be as excited as I am with the line up for the forthcoming event.

With a high standard of entrants this year (sadly missing out on my own cheesy skills to do various, errr, hand related deficencies) we can expect some titanic battles, all brought to you after the event as Sky has brought the TV rights. The wankers.

Personal pick of the round is Shend Vs Saurian. The Shend will be hoping to use his Q to good effect, especially as no-one else plays as the bugger. We were hoping to bring you some words from Saurian, but he mumbled something about Heroness and chambers, which I can only assume are codewords for his super special secret tactics.

My Xbox got banned last night. Perfect :/

Stock HDD, switchable chip (and it refuses to connect to live if it is on)

Think it was a dodgy save file that did it (apparently you're meant to do something to downloaded saves before they're usable, and I didn't. Went onto Live for some 3S... and ... it's over :/)

So, unless I can get this sorted fast, I'm screwed :/

Downloaded configmagic last night (but i'm unsure of what else i need). Can anyone help? Firsty?

Offending save has since been removed. All I need to do now is change the EEPROM / HD serial, right?

I think it's just the HDD serial...I heard they don't keep track of the EEPROM now... Best ask in QA quick :S
