I don't see why it couldn't, if you can force games like Mashed and GTA SA etc to display prog scan. Why couldn't you force Halo2 to display 720p? Especially as it'll need a download, or some extra code present on the HD to run. Surely it could be done with little fuss? I thought anything played on Xbox 360 had to be at least 720p?

Great games last night lads. Didn't lose a single game and must've played a good 8 BTB's (at least as long as I was on).

Feeling much love for Halo2 again - Absence makes the heart grow fonder or summit.

Because of the higher resolution playing a game in 720p it would require more power from the 360, which it may struggle to do combined with the emulation. Also every texture and hud in the game has been designed to be seen at 480p resolution , forcing it into 720p would more than likely cause all kinds of stange graphical glitches and incompatibilities when played.
