sorry Rob, cracked the million at last, cleared level 2 at last and got about 3 mins into level 3.

1,121,580 good enough for 5th on Live leaderboard

your right Level 1 will be the big hostage bonus scorer, getting about 729,000 out of a good level 1 (22 hostages) just don't miss the ones above you in the tree's when your on the boat.

Rob has the PS2 version got the 2 unlockable bonus games also - I'm almost tempted to play through on easy (with many continues) just to unlock them, almost I say .... don't want to spoil the fun.

David - yeah there are two games which I can play once I have completed it. I guess these are the same as the XBox version.

1.9 million on the 3rd round boss - forgot the part with the ostri-slug and ended up going the more difficult route

i dont have live so i cant post my score i'm afraid

on the 4th level when you get inside the temple go down the very first manhole (you have to crank it open)

thats the starship troopers brain slugs/drill slug level and there are loads of bonuses

finished the game with 4 credits and a score of 5.3 million

Well up up to 12th now with a score of about 960 000, still can't get past the 2nd level though.

I tend to be able to get to 2nd level boss before dieing after that it's a bit downhill follow Buster's tips in the First Play thread and with more practice the Level 2 bosses can be beaten with one life

Improved by about 35,000 to 1,156,xxx last night, keeps me in 6th, finding big points gains hard to come by now, unless you can clear a whole level on one life (and get big hostage bonuses) you'll never improve by loads of points.

Highest scores I ever got on mission 1 is 747,600, 22 hostages and using the "normal" path, found this higher scoring than the two alternative routes.

Finding myself quitting fair bit on level 1 now if I die or miss some hostages, sad I know but not going to top the leaderboard or progress much further without a perfect Mission 1.

I always quit on Level 1 if I die. The most hostages I have ever got is 18, if you takes ages to kill the boss do you get loads more hostages?

going through level 1 normally, you do get a few (5 max) towards the end, last one appears when the clock is down to about 28.

If your in the vehicle just keep holding right until the clock gets down to around 25

12th position right now on the Live board, with a score of 963,870. Up to the second level's boss.

I've slipped to 8th with 1,158,000 few more people playing now, must have a go tonight, takes about 15 mins a go though just to complete first two levels, (which is a good thing) unless you keep having stupid deaths like I have all too often

managed 1,225,xxx last night, jumps me back upto 6th, managing to complete first 2 missions with one life now most of the time, (but only rescuing aboout 6 hostages on mission 2 - is this the norm ?).

Need to find alternative route on Mission 3, going the standard route up the lifts/girders etc is well hard.

Note: At start of mission 3, 5 seconds into the level, down the bottom of the screen is a pod that shoots out "landmines" make sure you destroy and pick up the bonus item, it's always worth 50,000 points

Are you bothering going into the cave for the Elephant Slug in level two? There's hostages a-plenty in there (although I can't get through it without losing lives yet).

The game doesn't give you anything for nothing does it all alternative routes with lots of hostages are much more difficult.

I think I might give up on that cave for a while, to be honest. It's disgustingly difficult, compared to just going through level two left-to-right - only managed to get up to the Elephant Slug once and didn't even manage to make it back out alive.
