I am waiting for the server to come back online so I can try it out.

I got on it, and thought it was bloody aweful, graphs we're quite crap, and it was as jerky as hell. I'll have another go and give it a chance.

Took me a while to actually get on it but now that I have I dont think too much of it.

I do not like moving the character by right clicking and I hate being forced to do tutorials, just put me in the game and let me figure out how to play it.

I doubt this one will have much success, its average at best.

I'll be honest, even the blurb didn't sound too hot. Sounds like it doesn't play much better, thus far.

Someone told me tonight it's been cancelled, already, and that the beta will be brought to an abrupt close. Sorry folks!

Dear friends of Wish:

Unfortunately we have bad news.

After careful consideration of all the facts and analyzing all the data which we have gathered from the Wish Beta 2.0 test so far, we have decided to cancel the Wish project.

Our Beta test will end this evening at 6pm EST, and at this time our Beta forums will close as well.

We enjoyed working together with our fans very much, and we are very sorry about this development. We wish you the best of luck in the future, and hope that you continue to enjoy online gaming, even with Mutable Realms and Wish not being available anymore.

We also wish the best luck to our competitors, and hope that they will not suffer the same fate as us.

Hmm, don't think I've seen an MMO (aside from that Xbox one) go belly up in this fashion before, perhaps their codebase simply couldn't cope on the scale required of this beta.

A bit ironic really - Wish's claim to fame was that it was going to be an Ultra Massive Multiplayer RPG, supporting more than 10,000 players in a single world.

Sorry boys, EVE quite happily averaged 9k users concurrently over the past few days, and holds the record with 12k concurrent users on a single world.
