Ridge Racer PSP Multiplayer anone?

We got it sorted in the end, worked well as we're both in the UK almost no lag. I'll be on there tomorrow afternoon if anyones about.

Yep, will be up for some more.

Problem is I still never seem to be able to join games...only host them.

I'm still unclear on the process, when you want to join.

Do you reset wifi card, then boot up ridge and look for a game then open Kai? Or should the process be different?

Post up a time you reckon you will be on and I will catch you then.

I had a problem where it would time out if I tried to join a game... fixed that by going to the wifi card properties in Device Manager, Advanced and changed -

Preamble Mode: Long TX Preamble
RTS Threshold: 2432

Worked good then.
You basically start the game as if your going to host one... then when Kai finds your PSP, go back, and go to Join instead (second option down on the Wireless Battle menu).

Seem to be having more success today (at least when hosting). Had some great games against people in the UK.

Playing UK people in a private arena seems to give best chance of success.

I'd like to see if I can get this to work. I've managed to get the PSP connected to Kai, but haven't managed to have a game yet as every time I've been on, there's noone else with a PSP.

What hardware do I need to connect my PSP to Kai? A WiFi card? Aren't there any USB alternatives?

Thought a router & wireless receiver covered it ?
