Wow, nice one taurusnipple! Thrashed my score good there mate!

I had a sneaky feeling that a monster score was on if you could go all the way through the castle without breaking your combo.

I haven't played Mercs in a few days now but I'll definitely be back on it tonight after you posted that score taurus.

You see, i never try to keep my max kills going on the castle stage. I tend to purposely start a new combo after the 70-90mark because through trial and error i always found i gained a higher score doing so... for some strange reason -

But! That score is too damn impressive to ignore and im gonna attempt a solid insane kill count. I dont plan to sleep much tonight, so might as well use my time with something worth while. heh

Anyhoo... I've just bettered my sunset score a little

I just got 5 stars on all maps with Wesker, only to realise you need 5 star with every character for handcannon... sorry, but that is about as much of that as I am prepared to wade through

All scores topping 70,000 happy with that!!

He's managed to get a slightly higher score on the Castle Stage, which is....203670. He knows that is "pothetically poor" but he is working on it and will post a higher one soon!

All the lads here are having great fun beating each other scores on Mercenaries. Best fun I've had in a while too.

I hope Adam gets his internet connection sorted out soon. Oh and tell him he'll have do to a bit better to beat my castle score and a whole lot better to beat Mr Taurus's score.

Jo, bless her heart, kindly said she?ll post my new, fairly meh castle score for me last night whilst on the phone. She?s absolutely adorable, kind, caring and beautiful to boot. Jo has her own save file on RE4 but hasn?t tried the Mercenaries just yet?

My connection has been terminated for now (pftt) but hopefully I?ll get it back up soon. I?m currently writing a new review for the site so not being able to keep that up-t-date is so damn frustrating?

Anyhoo? I?ll hopefully be able to play some more RE4 this weekend (though im staying at Jo?s on Saturday and its mother?s day on Sunday? so seems unlikely). I got a max hit kill of 140 yesterday? I?ll post my new score as soon as I can.

Yeah SummAh, been giving Mercs a bit of a rest, although I did have a quick go the other day but was only getting around 180K-190K in the castle, so didn't play long. Theres still a place waiting for you in the 200K club though, SummAh.

Got GT4 today from GAME for 99p plus 4 of my old games. So I'll be driving around alot instead of shooting parasite infested villagers and crazed monks for a while.

Don't worry though, I'll always come back to Mercs.

I too have had a break from Mercs, but that?s mostly due to just not having enough time. I recently got a new job, been doing tonnes of written work (have been doing my mum?s Uni work, heh) also been writing a new review for the site (Shadow of Rome) so playing/making notes on that took up a lot of my time (time which I would have much rather spent with Resident Evil 4)

I wont give up on it though,

I never read the review Adam, I purchased the game on a whim a while back and never got round to 'sinking my teeth in' Way off-topic for the thread, but I found this the only Zelda game which I had difficulty getting into. Took some time. Once I did everything fell in place. Some things had me stumped, the last boss and the initial walk up the mountain, but persistence and trial and error overcame these. Plenty of fresh air to be had in the game, I expect the new GC Zelda to be anything but a rehash of old ideas after this. Read your review just before I started this post though, it's fine, informative and enthusiastic, I'd have bought the game based on your review! Got 5 fusions left according to Tingles brother, though I read on the thread that I may not be able to perform the fusions. Missing two scrolls too, the 2nd and last ones.

As for Mercs, I'm gonna have a stab today, think I'll use somebody other than Wesker - freshen things up a little, you never know!

Welcome to the forums AeroWesker. This thread hasn't been updated in a while since we've been giving Mercs a rest but it could be due for a mini revival.

Very nice score and its quite a freaky coincedence how its exactly the same as taurusnipple's top score.

Now, who's score goes on top then? I guess that would be you AeroWesker since you've killed more than taurus did.

Just read all of this thread and WTF? Those score are huge. Me and my housemate have been playing this solidly and only getting in the 70,000's. Hats off to you guys.

I guess I need to work on my combo tonight as that sounds like where the real points are at (tend to get best combo of 20 you see)...nice thread though, be a shame to see it die out!
