Why is my Ninja Gaiden save game not suffice to unlock those two characters ? It's got Hayabusa in it FFS (and Ayane) - Tecmo ****ers - there must be an alternative way to get them ????

Oh, special mention also to the voice masking options - the cartoon voice carry on we had on Friday night was absolutely hilarious - I could barely play at one point for laughing. I think pro evo has it too but I'd never heard it before only the dodgy serial killer sounding mask that some yanks seem to like using. I wish to God halo had that option. Bad mouthing our friends from across the pond whilst sounding like you've pumped a canister of helium into yourself would be priceless.

I am l33t. Unlocked all the costumes the long way, by completing it around 140 times. At least I know which characters are **** now.

Leifang can rot in hell. At least Ayane and Tina are Tengu killers. Guranteed perfect with Tina now every time So I can finally go online and use Bass's blatent pimpage outfit.

I'm getting better, even though my E rank betrays me. It's partly because I try and play like I play SF3, carefully, cautiously, going for the punshing moves, and promptly get completely shafted by a button-mashing Ein.

I am growing to hate Ein.

Still, my Tina's getting pretty good, and I can reverse a lot of things on sight now. It's not so hard, especially given how mashy people get.

So guys: tournament some time? And for the SF3 lot: how about home and away, 5 games on this, 5 games on SF3?

Haven't played an awful lot online recently, but Ein (and Hitomi to some extent) have easily readable moves. Assuming you aren't playing a push whore, just wait for them. His punches always seem to go high, and his kicks normally go low.

With Tina you shouldn't have any trouble. Back, Forward, throw, HCF, throw. Gets them every time. If that fails, just shove your arse in their face, Hugo style.

I swear the game is totally gay. Went on last night after not playing since launch day and totally took teh Singh to teh cleaners with Thurra as witness. The damage from danger area ring counters is insane!

Anyone played DoA1? Proper counter masher! I'm sorry, but what a ****e series, that just had to be said I'm afraid. Good for a laugh though, very good.

I got the game last Monday, but haven't had much time to play it. I went straight online and won 4 fights in a row, but then the Brits left leaving me to fight the Yanks and a few Asian guys; all of whom seem to know the game inside out and totally whupped my ass

I am now a Grade D, so I have been getting as much training in single player as possible, though I'm still too lazy to learn everything.

Anyhow, like all games persistence pays off, and I shoulld gradually get the jist of how to fight properly.

What do people think of Ayane? I feel really confident when using her, she is quick and can inflict a lot of damage.

I use her a lot too: random df+p,p,p,p+maybe a random qcf+k if they're coming back down from the air.

Ayane is mean, when you can use all her spin moves properly. She mixes stuff up like nobody's business. Easily the hardest character to face in single player. Tengu has nothing on that bitch.

When it behaves, it's much more fun that even SF online, especially with fellow peeps who don't take things too seriously. Had to laugh at Gerry raping your rank. Hard. The big nosed bastard

At least the random Zack player beat the random french Jann Lee whore. Even better, after Gerry left old scuba suit managed to beat him into the ground as well. Got around 500 points for the one.

Nice, nice - That Jann Lee slag was most annoying - but that move is so lame, once you're ready & expecting it you just Block & duck - then he's left wide open for a smacking - I was even drawing the guy into doing it last night just by backing off and waiting for him to take up the opportunity !
