A level one ranked player doesn't make them a level 1 skilled player. You know, I'm sure I could be higher than a level 10 if I really tried.

true, but there's little other way of determining 'skill'... if you played a stack of matches people may just get lucky or someone may decide to play crap.

2 x 16 man royal rumble style to determine best/worst players. I've played with some killing Machines who suk at anything but slayer and Vice versa

I think all Slayer matches are a tad unfair if we go for a group set up would it not be better to have maybe 1 slayer on Ivory T and 1 assault/Flag Grab on Zanzibar ?

At the end of it you could have 2 16 eliminators, First to 3 wins, 1 life, top 8 qualify for Final where 5 kills Wins the Single Man Champion
