Halo 2 Tournament - Details

Have started a new thread for clarity - will update this first post as we go through the tournament so its easy to find latest standings/info.

This is a tournament for teams of 2 players, starting with a group stage with each group existing of 4 teams, with the winner and runner up of each group going on to quarter-finals, semi-finals, and then the final.

We have all the players now, just a few people still not in teams.....

Each team to play each other Team in their Group once, with 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw (can this even happen!?), nothing for the loser! The winner and runner up of each group go through to the knockout stages. In the event of a draw, a play off will be played with the same map, but with first to 25 kills instead of first to 50.

The map to be used for the Group stages is..... Ascension

Map defaults for weapons etc., 20 minute time limit, first to 50 kills.

Post results in this thread and I will keep track (hopefully!) of how things are progressing.

All Group matches to be completed by Sunday 10th April.

Ah, count me in. Highest level is currently 10. Highest I've been was 12 (that's what happens when you spend all your time playing Big Team Battle, I guess).

Can we pick our partners? I still don't like the idea of highest with lowest, because it could be pretty unfair. I've had my arse handed to me by many of the people in this tourny, and they're lower ranks than myself.
