Some general Online/LAN multi-player PSP questions.

    1) How will it work?

    2) Will it be free like DS, or will there be a flat monthly fee charged, (or on game basis!?).

    3) I'm importing a USA PSP, will I still be able to get online with it in the Uk?

    4) Will I be able to play multi-player games with UK PSP owners via wi-fi LAN?

    5) Will it matter what combination of region PSP and software for multi-player LAN gaming?

    1&2:

You can play wireless link up games over kai already (www.teamxlink.co.uk) but you'll need an wireless USB adaptor to do this. I'd expect the "online" titles to work pretty much the same way (like the DS will) when they are released (and you more than likely wont need to buy a USB adaptor - just a wireless router should do the trick), we'll just have to wait and see what Sony say I guess.

    3:

Yes, although you'll need a wireless router to do so.

    4:

Only if they'e using the exact same version of the game as you (JP / US / EUR)

I've just bought a Belkin 54g wireless router, does that mean the PSP would be able to connect with it via wi-fi. I assume it does but I'm just making sure.

Don't see any reason why not.

You'll need someone else to confirm this as I don't own a wireless router yet, and i'm not sure whether the PSP is compatible with all routers or not. If it does work, you'll be able to connect to it to get firmware updates, play games that support online play, etc.
