getting online with ff11 (PS2)

I've had final fantasy 11 with the HD and an ethernet adaptor for a while now. I haven't got it working yet because I'm getting the net again this week.

I have a chipped PAL ps2 and I basically want to know, Will it be easy enough to get it working? What do I need to do? what cables will I need? how does it all work?

Please help.

Sorry to bring bad news, but it won't work. You can't fool the online service with a chipped machine. You need to have a native US machine.

I suppose my next step is to get either a US machine or just sell it...
