USB to ethernet adaptors

this is an offshoot of the ics connections problems thread, I was wondering if anyone knows if USB to ethernet adaptors work well with ICS on Xbox live (or whether they work at all !)

As per my post on the other thread, I'd avoid USB ethernet adaptors like the very plague. They're slow and unreliable. With upstream as ****ty as it is in this country you don't want to add latency for no good reason if you're using live.

Might be better off in the PC advice forum tho....

As mentioned in the related thread I used one of these (USB Ethernet adaptors) in the end (reluctanctly, last resort) and to my amazement it works perfectly, with no lag. thanks for the advice.
