Taking some names down of those intending to pick this up - no impressions so far from anybody regarding the live integration but I'm hoping for Halo2 style party system (more likely UBI's bog standard system I imagine)

I'm just popping out to pick this up so let's get the Tags down and I'll be on to play all night tonight once I've watched Lost.

Really looking forward to playing Predator mode.

From the manual regarding Predator mode :

"A group of mercenaries is trying to cross the map to reach a transmitter and power up a sonic alarm. When the alarm rings, the predator dies. To reach the transmitter, the mercenaries have to go through predator territory. The predator has the complete set of features : feral abilities, feral strength and regeneration.

The predator will respawn if killed but mercenaries only respawn when the predator is killed. Mercenaries win the game when the kill sequence hits zero; the predator wins when all mercenaries are dead.

How fookin' good does that sound ? I cannae get out of here soon enough now.

That sounds class. So the Pred has to wipe out the Merc team without getting killed to win or it restarts and the Mercs can also win by reaching the sonic alarm... that is abolsute mint!!

Can picture it now... a 6 man Merc team being wiped out one by one as they head for the transmitter and one is left, totally crapping his pants as the Transmitter comes into view, thinking he has made it and then... STAB, claws rip through him and its all over. That sounds like an absolute genius game mode and I am now going onto live tonight for a go no matter what...

oh man, i just read on rllmuk you can't reconfigure the controls...

i use left thumbstick to aim/look and the right one to move/strafe. could one of you kind souls that already has this check it out for me? if it's true then i'll not bother buying it. i was really upset that the entire splinter cell series has non-configurable controls, i stuck with playing the 'reverse' controls for a good few hours but just couldn't get used to it.
