Have to say, every game ive had against you i have experienced some lag. Im guessing its the same both ways though, but im surpirsed to hear you have a 2mb connection. Maybe its cos im all the way down sarf!

Still, i cant stop playing this on live, and we have had some quality games mate. Im on for a win soon actually against you, cos i havent had one in the past 4 games or so!

Hehe, law of averages matey, the win is coming, I can tell

I experience some slight stutters when you host a half but by no means unplayable and as you say it balances out. Even with the occasional stutter it has been miles better than my Pro Evo 4 experience, hence my 70+ games played.

Not be on for any tonight but will def hook up over weekend for some and maybe even get you in my group in the cup. The round robin league should work well.

Sorry very OT but I wish to ask this question. Winning Eleven 9 (PS2) has a "Road to the World Cup" mode - where you take control of Japan and try and take them to the finals. Now I was under the impression that this was included in the PAL edition of Pro Evolution Soccer 5 (PS2) - but in this case you would take control of England. So, is this the case? And, if so, why isn't it included in the Xbox edition? Thanks if anyone can answer that.

How do you guys manage to get games on this? Every time I connect there are no games listed, and if there is one I always get my challenge refused. I tried starting my own game, but no one tried to connect to me. Is this usual?

Any help appreciated!

We get games through our friends list mostly and these cups we set up in here.

Add as many folk from this and the tournament thread to your friends list to be sure of good games.

Yeah, thats the best way. I found it trickier getting a game yesterday with randoms as there didnt seem that many around. Usually if you refresh the page once or twice it will find somebody for you.

Getting a game can be difficult. The pro guys don't want to play amateurs and finding someone with a good connection rating can take time.

There doesn't seem to be many people playing the game. I was on yesterday afternoon and sat around for around 20minutes before I found someone. Trying to get a game late at night is virtually mission impossible.

I have had some great games though, so it's worth persevering!

I am usually on late at night (around 12) so if anyone is the same and wants some games send me friend request. Its hella quiet aroud that time but always good when folk on your friend list are about for games.
