XBox Live down?

Just picked up PES5 but can't get online...is Xbox live down or is it a problem at my end?

Well, it's back on, but it's still screwed! Spoke to a whole bunch of people who are all experiencing problems, regardless of game. I've had a lot of trouble attempting to connect tonight, and when I do connect, my friend's list is going nuts.
