EA and Xbox Live for 360?

Well we all know that MS and EA reached an agreement a while back that saw EA supporting Xbox Live, but with control of their own servers and services on top of the Live service.
The result has been a win for both companies, but fairly dismal for consumers with lots of issues in games and lobbies, extra steps with registration and even termination for support of some titles as the next yearly update gets rolled out.

So where does this leave the 360? More of the same?
If so, I will continue to avoid EA titles into the coming gen also. I believe we deserve more than what EA a peddling. We pay a premium for the Live service and this 'organ grinder/monkey' act that these two companies are playing at doesn't do the consumer any good.

No I haven't, BO3 was where I parted ways with EA, but there were serious distribution issues in NZ that pushed me over the edge. I would consider wiping the slate clean if EA were to change many of their business practices, but at this point I don't see any evidence of it, hence the thread.

Do you mean this as in, BO Revenge is good online? If so I have to disagree - it's good when you get a game, but it's still broken. Sometimes the games runs twice as fast as it should, the A button exploit in crash and still being kicked from lobbies all detract from the actual experience.
EA makes the most unstable XBL games EVA, FACT!

How would the new TrueSkill matchmaking service be able to work alongside EA's cobbled-on service? And if MS panders to EA's wishes again, then what stops the next big publisher demanding the same kind of treatment?
