Well we all know that MS and EA reached an agreement a while back that saw EA supporting Xbox Live, but with control of their own servers and services on top of the Live service.
The result has been a win for both companies, but fairly dismal for consumers with lots of issues in games and lobbies, extra steps with registration and even termination for support of some titles as the next yearly update gets rolled out.
So where does this leave the 360? More of the same?
If so, I will continue to avoid EA titles into the coming gen also. I believe we deserve more than what EA a peddling. We pay a premium for the Live service and this 'organ grinder/monkey' act that these two companies are playing at doesn't do the consumer any good.
