I went to bed at about 10 last night mate cos i was feeling really grim.

Should be about tonight though, say 7?

Nigeria 3 -2 Sweden

Great game mate. Got off to a shocking start with that own goal - defender prodded the ball away from striker, Goalkeeper went to clear it and then suddenly didnt bother and it went in. I was fuming! Went up the other end though pretty much straight away, low cross in a nd a bobble off your defender for Martins to mop up with a smart finish. You kept breaking dangerously down the wings and soon got a 2-1 lead with a through ball to Larsson who was in acres and applied a cool finish. Created some close calls toward the end of the first half but equaliser finally came in the second from a trademark Okocha freekick early on - im loving my freekicks at the moment 2-2.

Both sides had chances thereafter, but after some missed oppurtunities at both ends, it was a Nigeria player who rose highest from an 85th minute corner to nod in the winner.

Will play the final tomorrow, as im off out now.

Result ****ing confirmed, Sweden 2 - 3 Nigeria...

Fair result in the end but some VERY contentious moments, second half Zlatan is through on the keeper and as he about to shoot gets fouled from behind as he enters the box but instead of getting the deserved penanlty or free kick I get **** all and it goes my advantage but the ball has broken miles from any player so Nigeria defender picks it up when the advantage thing is gone and I get **** all for it. Also, the 3rd nigeria goal was na unchallenged header from a corner than the not one defender tried to clear... really dissappointed with what has been a very solid defence up until now.

Good game mate, bit laggy second half but balanced out in the end, all the best in the final.

If you were steaming about that though, just think how i felt with the own goal in the first half! Plus the Larsson goal was pretty annoying considering i didnt have a defender anywhere near him willing to put in a challenge. The corner i scored from at the end is the type of goal i hate conceding, because it is not down to the human players error, more the computers desire to stop any of your defenders from attacking the ball. Sometimes, you can just see when a header is about to go unchallenged, and there is **** all you can do about it.

Not taking anything away from your play mate, it was the little frustrating things about the game that cropped up last night. TBh, that free kci kwas good enough to win any game so fair play, what a ****en strike mate, gotta go forward as my vote for goal of the tournament, it was perfect, the height, the dip and BOOM, the nigeriansa re having a party in the Swedes back garden.

Said that exact thing about teh corner goal, there aint anything you can do it just happens sometimes and it is ridiculous the players do nothing but watch it hit the net.

Was a great game mate and think you were due a break after our last Semi and the friendlies we played.

Goldbricker 1 : 0 Marmite

This was a REALLY tight game settled by a penalty. I was pretty much in control in the first half but after Marmite shuffled his team (I guess) he started to break me down a bit but I still think I had the fair share of the possesion. The penalty came on 41 minutes and I was quite glad to get one in the net.

The second half I had to keep it tight at the back and there was some nervy moments. I had two freekicks one which hit the crossbar and went back into play and the other which was cleared off the line by the defender but at the end of the game the stats were pretty much even stevens.

Cheers man, well played. Now for the swearing...

****ing game ****s me off! That was never a penalty! Inexplicably, my xbox somehow reset all my controls at the start of the game - that was why i kept pausing mate, cos my buttons had been remapped all over the shop. Managed to get them all sorted, bar the run button, which is why my defenders kept shuffling from left to right instead of running with yours. Had no more pauses left, so just had to deal with it. once i figured out where my run button was in the second half, i managed a bit more play, but still not good enough really. Was a tight game i guess, and fair play on the win.
