How often are you on Xbox Live?

I'm getting a little bit sick of never having anybody decent to play against on Xbox Live, which made me realise something: out of 90-odd people on my friends list there is usually only 3 or 4 online at any one time. Why is this?

Is it because Xbox Live is just a bit crap (it's not), or do gamers actully have social lives? I'd be interested to know how long you guys spend on Live and how often. Is your friends list always empty too?

Depends what you play & ****. I have a few "real world" friends who play live so we tend to hook up at times & play - Likewise, got a lot of the forum guys on my list and have lost count of the amount of time we've spent on Halo2.

My friends list usually has a maximum of 10 online, usually the same old people, or some others playing different games other than Halo 2.

I noticed you kept inviting me tonight HariboKart to DOA Ultimate, but I don't own the game. As for the clan thats pretty dead on Halo 2...

The weekend just gone was the first time I've been on Live in two weeks.

Either people are playing games I don't have or they don't have games I have and some games' Live interfaces are awful, which doesn't help when Halo 2's is so easy and accessible.

I play like a few goes when I get a Live game, but online stuff isn't as important as it was when I was younger. The whole getting really good at it and whipping people in the same game over and over for six months is behind me... There are too many good games to limit yourself to one for any period of time. I'm juggling 5 or 6 at the moment, trying to squeeze as much in before Xbox 360!

Outside of official Frag Doll matches, I'm probably on Live about two or three times a week. Recently it's been less because of Makai Kingdom and Nintendogs (sooooo addictive...), but once I get going on Lockdown, I'll happily kill two hours.

Burnout seems to be popular. Always getting invites for that. And, of course, Halo 2.

You should play some halo 2, you haven't played it since they did the stats reset and auto update months ago, its much better than when it first came out
