Mario Kart "Clan"?

How would a Mario kart DS Racing Team work out? If we had a team of say 10 racers, then we keep a record of their win/loss records on a website somewhere (I could host), then it tallies up to a Team Win/Loss record. If we got the ball rolling then other players could also set up teams and we'd all have competing team win/loss records entered into a central hub website!

Thats the sad bit, because it would be almost impossible to organise races against other teams, you just have to count your total win/loss record.

I suppose the other option is we have say 6 teams of 5 racers. We all make sure those are the ONLY 30 people we have on our friends list, and we race against each other. But then no doubt we will be ruining our team mates loss records (or I will )

Maybe Nintendo will introduce somekind of mod on thier servers so we can play a clan type match....... or maybe not!
