The only difference i'd say, is that the NPCs stay indoors when you have wi-fi on, but everything seems to be fully functional in the same way.

Still stuck in my town, trying to get back. Might not be online much tonight. My PC has taught me that playing Civilization 4 on a huge map is not entierly agreable with playing the DS online. May not be online as much as I used to till my brother goes back to University because of this.
