Oi oi!!

RuBiQ suggested this in another thread, but I thought that I`d put the idea up here for peeps to look at, maybe give ideas and just generally show their interest.

Basically I`d be looking for possibly 15 - 20 players to take part in an MKDS competition which would take the format of a league. Obviously it is early days, I`m not sure whether we will have to play eachother twice or what depending on numbers who enter and whether it`s gonna be 1v1 or four players racing. Hopefully any constructive input here will decide that.

There will be no prizes but the winner gets the honour of being crowned "NTSC-UK Nitro League" champion......... at least until we maybe do it again.

I don`t think that we need to have too many rules but one that I think should be in there is, yes...... you`ve guessed it..... NO SNAKING!!

Depending on the reaction we get, I`m prepared to try and get this off the ground hopefully with a little help from some of you other guys.

RULES: (so far)

1) No Snaking! anyone caught will be warned and possibly dropped from the league. (I appreciate this will be a tough one to police. I need your input)

2) Disconnecting for whatever reason will result in a forfeit loss.

3) Failing to meet race time will result in a forfeit loss.

4) 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw.

It was a tight fought competion amongst the other competitors but there was an out and out winner who romped to victory with an awesome 20 wins and 0 defeats

That racer was of course the one, the only...... VONMANC!!!!

Why not make it interesting and ask each participant to pay ?1.50 each and use the total as a prize (say the new Outrun 2006 Coast 2 Coast on the format of their choice)

Cash prize would be very interesting but I reckon we`ll be struggling for numbers as it is without trying to tap folk for money as well. It also inculdes an extra "hassle" factor, waiting for peeps to send money in and all that.

Why dont we have a have a league and tournament, of both the snaking and not-snaking varieties?

I suppose if we set it up so that it isn`t on a 1v1 basis, if more than one person catches you snaking then it would be looked at.

As you know, I`m not shy when it comes to a little snaking myself but from what I saw in RuBiQ`s thread, it is a bit of a sore point here.

Atleast if nobody does it we are all on an even playing field.
