Has anyone else picked up on this.... Microsoft are merging the Live platforms (ie, so you can play 360 vs PC etc...) but surely this means you'll soon be needing a Live Gold subscription to play online on your PC? At least for certain games (Shadowrun for example). I'm not really a PC gamer but I just wondered what others thought?

Im quite into PC games and i quite like this idea, a lot of people I know play on the 360 and it would be cool to be able to play them cross platform kind like the odd Online MMPORPGs like FFXI
The subcription wouldnt bother me its quite low anyways and if the pc's live had the same content and ease of use as the 360 then its money well spent imo -
Good point - I guess though what they're doing is offering PC users the live service and if they want it they can pay like the rest of us - I don't think it'll be mandatory other than for specific titles ?Comment
