Didn't say it was, but I've got a free months rental with lovefilm, so I'm renting games I never bothered with...they just all seem to be really easy ones! So I may as well go for it since I'll never get there again lol!

How is the weighted gamerscore calculated? Is it only unique achievements that count towards the total? Or are the common ones counted too, but devalued or something?
Nice work with the stats as usual.
I'm working on trying to get my completion percentage above 50% before I play anything new. Got quite a few older games that I haven't got many points on so I'll be revisting some of them.

Yeah, something like that.
Generally speaking, the value of every achievement is multiplied by whatever percentage of the players of that game (excluding yourself) have NOT got the achievement. If you are the only person with the achievement, you get it's full worth, but if everyone has got it, it becomes worthless ... and various percentages inbetween. It only counts games that have got two or more people playing them, so nobody gets an advantage just by having a collection of obscure Japanese games.

Won't that penalise more popular games though? So beating hardcore on Gears of War becomes worthless whereas some of the easier achievements on the arcade titles become valuable.
I think it basically means an achievement like "Break out of the prison" is worthless whereas "Seriously...10,000 ranked kills" would be worth the full amount.
Jebus is correct.
But please don't feel that you need to pay any attention to that leaderboard, it's just an experiment really.
As an example, look at how it compares to the "normal" leaderboard. Seigfreid007 is an astonishing 15000 points in front of LeonardLau, but behind him on the Weighted score, presumably because Seigfreid's score is made from a lot of easily-gotten achievements that the majority of other players have also got, whereas Leonard has more difficult-to-get achievements than everyone else.
