As for the guitar analogy, I see your point but I believe as much as you can learn, you have to have some form of natural talent as well and some have more than others.

There was a big study that looked at musicians and it showed that those that went on to become recognised as the best in the world were no better at earlier stages of learning than other people who went on to nothing.

Doing things like this can give you more of a challenge in a game though, which in turn makes it more fun. I understand what you're saying, there's some ridiculous achievements that just aren't fun at all, like dead rising's survival one. I don't really think that takes skill, it just takes time, time I wouldn't be willing to give it.

Still remember how I felt when I did mile high club...It was nothing compared to how I felt when I FINALLY did the spot on CoD2 on veteran where you have to go through clearing houses A-F. That felt amazing. But it was one of the most annoying ones i've ever done too...

Not originally. I was just trying to get the 100k mark.

The better half had Band Hero for Xmas and I saw you can get a load of achievements in an hour and a half so decided to shanghai it. I miscalculated badly and thought this would take me over. Instead it left me 20G's short.

As I was so close I ended up scrabbling around to see if there was anything that would land me smack bang on it. One game of Scene It later and there I was.

Well done on the 100K. That's my target for the year now. Was 4G off 77777 earlier in the week which peeved me a bit.

Still quite surprised I got top score, especially as I only whored one game. KoF98 was hard work though, but one night I was up at about 4am and signed on. The game still seems incredibly popular with Mexicans and I had no trouble getting matches where as usually you only get the odd one.
