Geometry Wars is a valid excuse for EVERYTHING. "Smile" is probably my most coveted achievement, I've spent so much time trying it and have come so damn close, but still no dice.
100k before 2012 is looking like it may prove tough for me, wonder if Boris will make it?
Exactly what I am aiming for Fuse, been playing Sequence over and over to to and finish it...can get to the final stage and then I lose! Getting pretty good scores on it as I go though as a bonus.
I noticed Boris was damn close to 100k the other day, go for the final push dude!
Both Geometry Wars games have had achivements that have been proper punch the air moments in my gamerscoring milestones.
I was aiming to get 90k by end of year and have managed it
2012 for me I will be looking to complete most of my XBLA games 200/200, know there are some I will NEVER get like Mutant Storm Reloaded (Black Belt Grandmaster) or Schizoid (Corpus Callosum Severed) which just require insane level of skill, which I do not have.
How import friendly is it btw? I've not played a Tengai Makyō title before but am intruiged to at least try one, even if only briefly. Don't suppose you'll be selling up after you've finished?
I think it's one of most import UNfriendly games since it's kanji heavy. In game world is pretty huge and some things can't be figured out without knowledge of language. For example you have to use certain items in certain places but it doesn't happen automatically - you have to go into inventory, select item, use it etc. And there is nasty dungeon towards end of the game that actually requires reading in order to get through it. If you want to play Tengai Makyou, I heard that Tengai Makyou ZERO (SFC) was translated into English .
Unfortunately I won't be selling this game, I sold it few years ago and now I managed to pick it up for a good price and I will never make same mistake again. I plan to 1K it but it would require second playthrough for me (there is one very hard achievement which requires you to collect every in game item).
OK! We got there. I may try and do a trim-down of users that no longer post / read the forum, as I think it's all getting a bit too much for the program to handle. Anyway, onward;
