A lot of people have 1000 in some games that don't count as completions because they haven't got the DLC bit ... usually cos they've sold the game on, or whatever.

Does anything think that I should discount DLC achievements from the "Completions" calculation?

I can see games where this would make sense ... TombRaider:Legend has 250 points of extra achievements for the TombRaider:Anniversary levels, but nobody who bought the retail version of TR:A is going to get these, and are therefore denied a completion against their name.

I can also see games where it make less sense ... for example, if the DLC is free and/or where it adds to the game (BioShock/Crackdown/etc), rather than being just a mechanism to wring more cash out of the gamer (Marvel UA).

Aye well done Peeven, I will have mine in the next day or so, im 70% thro and on final chapter now, with a few side missions to finish. Its one of them games i have enjoyed and will be sorry to see the end of.

I've been chatting to peeveen about this as i've been playing through Marvel and i'm not going to get the DLC because it's a blatant rip off. I agree with the comments that a complet game should be the game in the state it's released, but how about something like Crackdown which released with 900 then had a free 100 released at the same time as the DLC ? I don't know precisely how much work this will involve for peeveen too, but we really need to set out some solid rules here.
