Me and Stevie Vip did the bladder of steel achievement on Rock Band 2 last Friday. Six hours and 10 minutes of non stop playing, Steve did the singing and i played bass guitar.
The achievement only unlocks if you don't press pause or the guide button.

We covered for each other for toilet breaks and food preparation. Preparation was the key to success, food and drinks were made in advance and precautions made against accidental button presses on the guitar (wii remote battery cover taped over the guide and start buttons)

Our reward?

25 gamerpoints each for a secret achievement!!

Was it worth it?

Since my last online update I've topped up NBA06 and NBA07, finished Fight Night 3, taken a couple of hundred out of MLB2K7, and a handful from Top Spin 2.

I think my next move is a couple of hundred from simming in FIFA07 and Top Spin 2 to get 500 or so, but is there an obvious title I'm missing in the list that I should go to next? I was thinking Fuzion Frenzy 2, Eragon or A-Train HX, but I'd quite like to top up an existing title if there are any low hanging point fruits I haven't harvested yet....

ChunkyKong & I have a friendly "completion" rating competition going. It's a much more healthy approach than basic points whoring, I reckon (and yes, I know I've just finished Jericho, but someone gave me that in the Secret Santa, so I was obliged to play it, wasn't it?! )

The good thing about the completion competition is I get to play good games for longer, there's no way I'd resort to playing some of the crap that ends up on this leaderboard, even if it did dish out lots of points in a short space of time. I'm proud that my gamercard isn't full of stuff like the sports games, the kids games, and stuff like Avatar and Jericho *cough*

Although your comment wasn't directed at me, Oblivion's Shivering Isles DLC annoys me. I'm not a big fan of the game, but I'd like to get that remaining 250achievement points but 2400 MS points is way steep.

Blue Dragon also annoys me. I've invested over 30 hours into that game and I've only got 250 points to show.

You're spot on Hulk, it is. And I now have Mass Effect and Fallout 3 at home as well, and I'm not playing them until I've done Oblivion. I will go back to it, mark my words!!!

As for DLC, I won't bother with it just for points. Example is Marvel Ultimate Alliance, an easy 250g but nothing extra on the game so I'm not spending the money. I probably won't get the Oblivion DLC either but I'll see how I get on.

The harsh game effect, I played Ridge Racer 6 for about 15 hours before I got a single point

The irony is, it's a lot better than it was. I have at least "completed" in the sense of "finished" more games in the last 12 months than I, perhaps, ever have.... but yes, I have hundreds of games, and many I've only played for 10 minutes. If that.

I have a post on another forum about my bizarre playing style, but basically I think I must have adult ADD or something.

PS:Also, in my defence I do have kids.... hence the kids titles on my profile. Cough.
