Have to say I totally freaked when my system froze for what felt like a small eternity. Sorry about that

Excellent stuff with the defend - such a massive, massive buzz getting that done and one of my defining gaming moment of the years so far without a shadow of a doubt.

Amazing tactics (nice one Raggen), some fantastic teamwork by all with the swap outs and ammo changes. Some hairy moments, but kept together well, and an amazing shoot-out at the end.

Everyone will have a different version of it but for me, being down to pistol and having them swarm past the jeep and barrels while Tali counted down the seconds in my ear was absolutely amazing. Then the grenades started going off and I just started shouting to hold off

I don't think I've ever hammered the fire button harder in all my life.

Everyone played their part but I feel special mention has to go to Spags, who takes the phrase `taking one for the team` to a whole new depth. We really couldn't have done it without you fella and you helped turn the tide. Without your weapon it might have been 57 minutes down the pan.

An excellent game last night fellas. Thank you so much for helping me with the defend achievement. I don`t think I`ve ever felt so good about getting an achievement.

It was getting really tense there at the end and if I`d realised how few of us was left I would definitively have had a heart attack

When there was 10 seconds left I still didn`t think we could pull this of. I was down to my last clip on an enemy AK 47 shooting wildly without really hitting anyone and screaming for support. Absolutely brilliant

Vintage GRAW from my point of view.

The last thing I heard before my mic died was being told to switch from R to A which I soon discovered took me from Single shot to Burst - not the best start, so I dug in and switched to handgun knowing that there was no point spanking my ammo just yet and if I hit Capcom (who was darting around in front of me) then he would just be winged. Had such a sweet spot with my aim fixed on the entry point between the barrels and the jeep, put my mic on charge and waited. 45 minutes passed with just 5 of those bastards getting through and out into the courtyard where I took them down with my hand gun. Mic went back on for a minute before cutting out again during which all I heard was Paulos and Dots laughing. Things seemed to be in hand anyways so figured if the **** went down in the last 5 minutes I could hold the line if they come running into the courtyard when BANG! This was a whole new type of TK, killed by my own side for my weapon. Pretty unbelievably at the time after coming so far and feeling confident I could hold my position. Was hard watching them charging in at the end right into my sight but no longer being in the game to dispatch them. But then without my mic on I can see how others could have doubted my ability (and going from past experience they were aware of my limitations)...

Please all join with me for a moment of respectful silence to remember those who have given their lives for this achievement.

I really feel bad for you Spags. This was not an easy decision for us, we debated killing you for five minutes and did so with a heavy heart.

It was funny I was constantly flicking through players checking their ammo and status, and everytime spags was just laid on the grass with his pistol out not moving, he was also holding a hand gun.

Good effort last night boys, for me it was one of the best live experiences ever getting that defender achievement. Special thanks to Raggen for coming up with the masterplan.


Also Dots getting the full 1000 points for GRAW 2 has made me a little green with envy so im gonna try to max the game this weekend.

Anyone wanna get the co-op missions, give me a shout!!

the 1000 will fall for you `zooki, still plenty of time to get that sorted.

yeah, spags it really was one of those sophie`s choice moments and was`nt taken lightly. you have full permission to shoot the crap outta me next GRAW session

sorry for throwing grenades at the end. i had to try & divert attention so zooki could swoop in to nab a rifle or 2 and if we got away with it, nab 1 myself. pity they were all empty least we tried i guess. i knew i was gonna fall anyways (raggen had revived me earlier when i was winged) and i was a walking dead man, so had to push out to help others. it was that kinda night

*EDIT* before i forget, the seamless transitions when people were out of ammo was a definite highlight. tali keeping cappers informed as to what he had, paulos keeping track with raggen, zooki keeping us up to date. then spatial moving up to take over paulos, redoilcan swooping in when cappers got disorientated, it was just blinding teamwork.

more than happy to do some co-op again soon as i`m not even remotely finished with the game.

that bit was superb, me and paulos watched as you two proper fought and burst out to pick up two guns, only to see you switch to the new gun and see it had 3 bullets in it

Just realised I got the Medic achievement (and also Team MVP) last week... but still a load of MP ones still to get (I need to kill more!), so many months more play for me!
